Project Description
Restorative Aerial Yoga is a gentle moving, low-to-the-ground practice where a hammock is suspended from above and is used to support the body in a variety of poses that fosters a deep state of physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Poses are held for longer to allow the nervous system to unwind and the body and mind to release tension and stress. Restorative aerial yoga encourages the breath/mind/body connection and reported side effects could include: stress relief, pain reduction, improved flexibility and a sense overall well-being. Other props like bolsters, blankets, pillows, eye pillow and hot water bottles may be used to further support and deepen the relaxation experience.
