Aerial Birthday Party in Penticton

2 hours – $250+gst – Up to 8 children includes:

First 1.25 hours

• Hammock intro, safety and time to ask questions to ensure everyone feels safe
• Guided aerial instruction & free time to play
  • This varies depending on what the ‘kids’ prefer – Sometimes they just want to play in the hammocks by themselves, while they are supervised and get shown aerial yoga moves here and there. They often come up with their own games and entertainment. Kids appreciate autonomy at birthday parties and we want them to only have fun, so guided instruction is not forced upon them during the party!
• Colouring & beading area for down time, they can tire quickly depending on how hard they play (supplies included)
• Photo slideshow of your child projected on the wall during party (optional – please provide photos in advance)
• Favourite music played (optional – please provide music in advance)

Last 3/4 hour for food, cake celebration and gifts!

• Hammocks are tied up as soon as food is consumed to ensure hammock cleanliness and full tummies are not recommended in the hammocks
• Please ensure your children wash their hands before and after eating to keep the studio and mats clean
• If they finish early, they usually play games or practice gymnastics on the mats, play with toys or play indoor basketball

Other Tidbits:

• Group photo and a complimentary printed copy for birthday person
• Parents and family guests are welcome to join in with completed waivers and appropriate clothing
• Time for host family to set up/take down/clean up decorations and food
• Fridge/freezer, convection microwave, airfry oven, filtered water for bottle refills, kettle, on demand hot water (please inquire if bringing an ice cream cake)
• Please wash any in-studio dishes & cutlery that you use and tidy up after your party
• Baby change table in accessible washroom

Parking:

• You may always park in unnumbered spots and spots labeled 106.
• After 4:00pm and on weekends you may park in spots labeled 107 & 108 at the front of building.
• Parking along Dartmouth on either side of the road.
• There is additional parking at the back of the building.
• Please do not park in spaces labeled 105 = Penticton CrossFit.

Tips for a Successful Aerial Birthday Party:

• Every participant going in a hammock, (adult/parent and child/sibling) must fill out the Groovio app waiver. We can also provide a printable version to sign and bring with you.
• Every participant should wear snug, comfortable clothing consisting of a t-shirt (covering armpits) and pants/leggings (covering knees)
• All clothing must be free of zippers, velcro, embellishments of any kind and anything that may snag or tear the hammock material. Sorry no exceptions
• All jewelry must be removed prior to using the hammocks. Sorry no exceptions
• Long hair needs to be tied or braided back
• Please trim/file fingernails if needed
• Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances, lotions, oils and sunscreen
• Arrive clean, especially your feet
• Please bring water bottles for the kids as they will get thirsty. We have a water refill station

We Do Not Provide:

• Food, cake or decorations
• Please no confetti, glitter or helium balloons

How to Book

Our schedule has some days & times available for birthday parties. If you don’t find a day or time that fits your schedule, please fill in the form below to request your ideal date/time and we will try our hardest to make it work so we can plan you a fun aerial birthday party!

After we find the perfect time & date and your birthday party is reserved, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit that can be e-transferred to steadyeffortyoga@gmail.com. Please include the birthday persons name & date of party in the e-transfer. The remainder is due at the party and we can accept cash, e-transfers or debit and credit card with payment platform processing fees applied. If you would like to pay your deposit & party with a credit card, we can email you an invoice where a 3.4% processing fee will be applied. Thank you for understanding.
